Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Transport Platform team. The role focuses on secure, scalable DevOps capabilities across cloud-native platforms, with emphasis on automation and federation patterns.

You will design, build and operate CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-native solutions, while embedding security into workflows. You will work with Engineering Leads, Product Owners, and Quality Engineers to deliver high-quality, production-grade software and enable

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure, scalable DevOps capabilities on cloud-native platforms in multi-functional teams.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Harness, Jenkins, GitHub and Terraform.
• Experience engineering Kubernetes-native solutions in GCP, including Istio networking and storage management.
• Familiar with GCP services and databases like Spanner/BigQuery/Cloud SQL, IAM controls.
• Ability to embed security and quality tools (SonarQube, AquaSec) into pipelines.
• Proven automation-first approach to reduce manual work and enable self-service.
• Strong collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
