Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for its GTECH Cloud Engineering team based in Richmond, London. You will design, automate, secure and operate RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Azure, collaborating with software engineering teams to improve infrastructure, delivery automation, observability and platform reliability.

Key responsibilities include building AWS infrastructure with IaC, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing security best practices, and driving incident response

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, including listed services.
• Proficiency with Terraform and CloudFormation for IaC.
• Git, GitHub Actions and CI/CD tooling experience.
• Bash or PowerShell scripting in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and IAM.
• Agile teams experience with strong troubleshooting and communication.
• Automation-first mindset and ability to work with software engineers.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and related cloud tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Support AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, IAM and CloudWatch.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and infrastructure patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
• Implement cloud security best practices and support remediation.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting, participate in incident management and RCA.
• Automate repetitive tasks and leverage AI-assisted tooling to improve reliability.
