Job summary

Mondrian Alpha is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our London team. You will design, automate, and optimise cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines in on-prem and cloud environments, partnering with engineering to enable scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on containerisation, IaC, and CI/CD experience, with Python/Java/Go/C# bonus. Key tech includes Kubernetes, Terraform, Tekton, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Git platforms.

Job description

My client, a technology-first hedge fund, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their London team.

The successful individual will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimising cloud infrastructure and application delivery pipelines within a on prem and cloud environment. You will partner closely with engineering teams to enable scalable, secure, and resilient solutions, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.

You should have deep hands-on expertise across containerisation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD, with a solid grounding in modern DevOps practices. Experience with Python/Java/Go/C# is highly desirable.

Ideal candidates should have experience with the below:

• Kubernetes experience - K8s
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform; familiarity with Bicep is a plus
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton and Azure DevOps
• Docker and containerisation best practices
• Git-based version control systems including Bitbucket and GitHub
