Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy in Cardiff, recruiting an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant. You will design and build secure AWS infrastructure, automate deployments, and lead delivery across government and defence projects.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong AWS, IaC, and CI/CD expertise, plus the ability to mentor other engineers within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial AWS experience.
• Experience building new cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on IaC experience.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices.
• Experience delivering within Agile teams.
• Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.

Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant.

Youll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructurenot solely maintaining existing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform

Security requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a British citizen
• Have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years
• Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance

Qualifications:

Create infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
