Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant. You’ll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects.

This hands-on leadership role requires building new cloud infrastructure, IaC, CI/CD and container platforms, with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial AWS experience.
• Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices.
• Experience delivering within Agile teams.
• Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.

Responsibilities

Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant.
Youll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructure not solely maintaining existing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines

• Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance

Security requirements

Applicants Must

• Be a British citizen
• Have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years
• Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
