Job summary

Curo Resourcing Ltd. seeks a Senior DevOps Consultant (GitHub SME) in the UK to own GitHub Enterprise governance, security, and automation at scale.

You will design scalable structures and optimise CI/CD across teams, collaborating with security, operations, and development groups to improve delivery velocity. The role requires hands-on expertise with GHAS, SSO integrations, and enterprise identity systems, plus experience migrating from other source control platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience administering GitHub Enterprise in large organisations.
• Strong governance, security, and repository management skills.
• Proven ability to design scalable CI/CD and automation.
• Experience with GHAS, SSO integration and identity systems.
• Background migrating from Bitbucket, GitLab, or SVN.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Administer GitHub Enterprise across large environments.
• Define and implement repository governance and access control.
• Enable and manage GHAS features including code scanning and secret scanning.
• Integrate GitHub with Azure AD/Entra ID for secure SSO.
• Support and optimise CI/CD pipelines and workflows (GitHub Actions).
• Assess environments and propose scalable improvements.
• Proven experience managing GitHub Enterprise in multi-team settings.
• Strong governance, security and repository structure expertise.
• Experience with GHAS, SSO integration, and DevOps automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication.
• Experience migrating from Bitbucket, GitLab, or SVN.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Broader DevSecOps or cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS/GCP).
