Job summary

This role requires coordinating with architects, planners, engineers and contractors, managing budgets and risk, and balancing commercial and regulatory demands across the development lifecycle. The position offers a competitive salary with a performance bonus, car allowance, and pension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Development Manager in residential property, with care home/assisted living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage development projects from site identification through to planning, construction and delivery.
• Lead site appraisals, feasibility studies and viability assessments.
• Coordinate with architects, planning consultants, engineers and contractors across each stage.
• Oversee planning applications and manage relationships with local authorities and planning officers.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and risk registers, reporting to senior management.
• Negotiate land acquisitions and development agreements.
• Engage with funders, investors and partners to meet commercial requirements.
