Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking an engineer in Wales to contribute technically across product development, from concept through validation and launch. You will apply engineering principles, run simulations and tests to ensure product reliability, and support the integration of new technologies into development programs.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and other functions to ensure feasibility and readiness, while upholding internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of product development or engineering work in an industrial environment.
• Solid technical foundation with ability to contribute across projects.
• English language proficiency with Welsh as a desirable local language.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to develop and improve products, components, and systems.
• Conduct simulations, testing, and analysis to validate performance and reliability.
• Support integration of new technologies and methods into product development.
• Contribute to product development projects from concept to validation and launch.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and other functions to ensure feasibility and readiness.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Share knowledge and help develop junior team members.
