CK Group is recruiting for a Senior Development Chemist, based in Leamington Spa, on a full-time permanent basis. This role involves providing quality control support to the manufacturing process, utilizing analytical techniques.

The Company:

Our client is a leading recycling specialist company, serving the polymer industries.

Location:

The site is located in Leamington Spa and is accessible from Northampton, Lutterworth, Rushden, Rugby, Coventry, and Birmingham.

Your duties and responsibilities will involve:

• Supporting and overseeing QC and technical functions as part of the technical team.
• Assisting in building, specifying, and operating a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory.
• Using GC-MS and other analytical data to identify and quantify contaminants, determine safe levels based on published and generated data, developing methods, and training operators.
• Providing technical guidance on process adjustments and improvements.
• Supporting innovative research into recycled materials for food use applications.

Your Background:

• BSc in Chemistry.
• Extensive knowledge of analytical techniques, especially GC-MS, GC-FID, LC-MS.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and standards.
• Experience with laboratory competence procedures and controls.
