Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Senior Development and Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of our new homes development programme across the North East region. You will drive mixed-tenure projects from inception through to completion, keeping customers and communities at the heart of the work.

You’ll lead a team of Development & Delivery Managers, oversee planning, procurement and construction phases, manage budgets, and collaborate with partners to achieve growth targets while delivering

• Significant experience in housing sector delivering high-quality new homes across multiple sites.
• A relevant degree (or equivalent) and proven track record in delivering complex mixed-tenure developments, including affordable housing.

What youll do

Lead a team of Development & Delivery Managers, managing projects from site identification through to aftercare. Oversee all stages of delivery, legals, appraisals, planning submissions, and construction through to completion. Deliver a variety of tenures across multiple sites, ensuring best value and quality. Manage budgets, income and expenditure, and maintain strong relationships with developer and contractor partners. Play a key role in achieving growth and surplus targets while delivering homes that make a difference.

You have Significant experience in the housing sector delivering high-quality new homes across multiple sites. A relevant degree (or equivalent) and a proven track record in delivering complex mixed-tenure developments, including affordable housing and homes for private sale. Strong commercial knowledge of housing development, planning processes, procurement, and contractor management. Skilled in creating and implementing compliant, design-led schemes. A natural leader who inspires teams and creates a great place to work. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across sites required).

The practical bits

Hybrid working,with 2 days being in One Strawberry Lane and the rest on site or at home Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
