Job summary

Lewisham Council in London is seeking a Senior Developer Contributions Officer to lead Building Safety Levy (BSL) processes and oversee the Developer Contributions Programme, ensuring compliance with CIL and s106 obligations. You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve systems and reporting, supporting the borough’s priorities.

Qualifications

Experience in CIL collection and knowledge of CIL regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop Building Safety Levy (BSL) processes and procedures.
Administer and collect the BSL after implementation, including quarterly management information.
Monitor, collect, administer and report on Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
Monitor and manage Section 106 agreements to ensure legal compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to secure CIL or S106 contributions for projects.
Prepare high-quality reports, briefing notes, and presentations for diverse audiences.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring and engagement with applicants and the community.
Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and reporting for developer contributions.
