Job summary

Menzies LLP is seeking a Senior Developer to join our IT & Innovation team. You will design, build and maintain innovative internal applications, integrations and automations that empower our teams to work smarter and unlock data and AI potential across the business.

Based in our Woking Office, you will collaborate across the firm, apply modern software engineering practices, and help shape our Innovation Team with secure, scalable solutions that deliver real business impact.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Cloud/computing certifications (Google Cloud, Azure, Microsoft) are a bonus but not essential.
• Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript, plus SQL and cloud development experience.
• Familiarity with APIs, web services, data formats and relational databases.
• Experience building internal applications, automations or integrations to support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative internal applications, integrations and automations from concept to deployment and support.
• Build scalable applications, APIs, scripts and automated workflows using modern technologies.
• Develop secure integrations between platforms using APIs, web services, databases and automation tools.
• Collaborate with teams across the firm to understand challenges and deliver practical technology solutions.
• Leverage data and AI capabilities on cloud platforms to empower better decision-making.
