Job summary

Time Recruitment is seeking an AI & Automation Developer in Manchester to design, develop, and support AI-enabled systems that connect CRM, telephony, messaging, and automation workflows.

The role spans front-end and back-end work with React, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, and SQL Server, delivering scalable business solutions. You will leverage AI tools and modern CI/CD practices while maintaining strong engineering principles and quality.

Qualifications

• Commercial software development experience.
• Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and data management principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage software releases, deployments, version control, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective business solutions.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for developing and enhancing a suite of internal systems that connect core business platforms with CRM, telephony, messaging, workflow automation, and AI technologies.

Working across a modern technology stack, you’ll take ownership of projects from initial requirements through to deployment and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities

Essential Skills & Experience

• Commercial software development experience.
• Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and data management principles.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience, ideally SQL Server.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and webhooks.
• Comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a commercial environment.
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and application support best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage projects independently from requirements gathering through to deployment.

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
