Job summary

Menzies LLP in London is seeking a Senior Developer to join the IT & Innovation team. You will design, build and maintain internal applications, integrations and automations that empower colleagues to work smarter and unlock data’s potential.

The role requires strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript, experience with C#, SQL and cloud platforms, plus a proven ability to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Microsoft, Google Cloud, software development, integration or automation certifications are a bonus, but they’re not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative solutions – Lead the development of internal applications, integrations and automations from initial concept to testing, deployment and ongoing support.
• Build technology that makes a difference – Create scalable applications, APIs, scripts and automated workflows using Python, TypeScript, C#, SQL and cloud-based platforms.
• Connect our systems – Develop secure, reliable integrations between platforms using APIs, web services, databases and automation tools.
• Partner with the business – Work with teams across the firm to understand challenges and deliver practical technology solutions.
