Sellick Partnership is recruiting a Senior Developer to join an established software business building and improving products for a growing customer base. The role has a strong backend focus on Java and Spring, delivering reliable, maintainable software within a collaborative Scrum team.

You will practice TDD, automated testing and CI/CD, participate in pair programming and code reviews, and contribute to technical design decisions while helping the team improve performance and maintainability.

Formación

• Strong commercial experience in backend development using Java and the Spring framework.
• Proven experience working in a TDD environment, including writing automated tests as part of the development process.
• Experience working within Agile teams, with an understanding of Scrum and XP practices.
• A collaborative approach to pair programming, code reviews and problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
• The initiative to take ownership of technical challenges and contribute to the wider team’s development.
• AWS services and cloud-native or serverless application development.
• CI/CD tooling, including Jenkins.
• Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt.
• Exposure to React and TypeScript.
