Pearson Carter is supporting a well-established organisation as it continues to invest in and expand its technology function. Due to continued growth within its engineering teams, the business is looking for a Senior Developer to join its Buying &; Merchandising technology area.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of applications and platforms that underpin a number of important commercial operations. These include areas such as product information, catalogue management, purchasing, stock and inventory, pricing, promotional activity and sales reporting.
You will work across the complete development stack, combining backend development with C# and .NET alongside frontend engineering using React and TypeScript. SQL Server and Entity Framework Core will also form an important part of the technology landscape.
The wider engineering environment is built around modern cloud and distributed technologies, with teams working across microservices, event-driven systems and containerised infrastructure. Engineers operate in small, autonomous teams and follow an iterative Kanban-based delivery approach, with an emphasis on automated testing, continuous improvement, maintainable code and collaborative engineering.
This is an opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to have genuine ownership over the solutions they deliver. You will be encouraged to contribute to architectural and technical discussions, improve engineering practices and help less experienced members of the team develop their skills.

Salary is dependent on experience and looking to go up to £90k.
This is a remote role however there is an office based in London for quarterly meet ups.
