Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare is seeking a Dev Team Lead/Manager to direct a growing development team delivering enterprise systems for frontline NHS staff from the Fleet Solutions site. You will steer modernisation from legacy ASP.NET/PHP/SQL to .NET, React and cloud-first, with an agile, delivery-focused culture.

You will shape technical strategy, foster collaboration with PMs/POs/BAs, and ensure high standards while expanding the digital portfolio.

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent experience plus in-depth technical and strategic knowledge.
• Experience leading development teams in an agile environment.
• Strong track record in resource planning, estimation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement development process for the team.
• Provide technical guidance and set code quality standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers/Product Owners on new work and estimation.
• Manage team resourcing and report to Deputy Director of Development.
• Balance hands-on coding with ensuring delivery team efficiency.
• Lead modernisation from legacy tech to .NET, React, Cloud First, Event Driven apps.
