Job summary

System C is seeking a Lead Delivery professional to head a CMM delivery team, delivering NHS-funded work with an emphasis on agile practices and engineering quality.

You will lead, code alongside the team, plan sprints, manage risks and coordinate with Product, QA, Security and Architecture to achieve shared outcomes. This role is hybrid with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software development teams.
• Solid technical background with C#, ASP.NET and SQL.
• Experience planning sprint-based delivery and prioritization.
• Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical disciplines.
• Strong coaching and people development skills.
• NHS or healthcare sector experience.
• HL7 or FHIR messaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of the CMM delivery teams and own delivery outcomes.
• Guide day-to-day technical decisions and adherence to standards.
• Contribute hands-on to production code with the team.
• Plan sprint delivery, track progress and manage risks/dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Security, Release Train and Architecture.
• Support complex technical problem solving across the team.
• Introduce and embed agile delivery practices.
• Coach, mentor and develop engineers.
