Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Senior Detection & Response Engineer to decide what we detect, command the response, and automate the process across enterprise, cloud, data centre, and OT environments. You will rotate in a three-person regional shift, take escalations, and drive coverage improvements with AI agents.

You will own detection ideas, tune rules, retire noisy detections, and mentor others while ensuring safe and effective incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in detection engineering, incident response, security operations, threat hunting, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Map detection coverage against attacker tradecraft and gaps, and work with AI agents to close them.
• Turn coverage gaps and recurring escalations into detection ideas and implement with agents.
• Tune rule logic and judge catch/miss rate and noise before going live.
