Overview
A Senior Designer is primarily responsible for designing product ranges and overseeing a department/specialist categories. They must inspire, mentor and manage a team with the support of the Womenswear Design Director.
They have exceptional on brand creative output and ideation, whilst ensuring cohesive ranges across categories that create balanced and unique product for the customer. A Brilliant sense of colour, design and print is needed as well as being able to ensure the Boden brand values are reflected in designs.
Excellent communication skills are essential and a can-do attitude as well as self-evaluation, problem solving and seeking solutions.
Being able to work alongside relevant product teams to create commercial yet creative ranges is essential. Awareness of trends, trade, fabric and margin crunch points to enable the execution of balanced ranges. Seniors will lead fit sessions and making confident decisions and ensure fit attitude is achieved.
Inspirational shopping/supplier visits are required at this level as well as additional creative projects briefed by the Senior Team.
Location: 4 - 5 days per week based at our North Acton Office.
