The Role

We are seeking a creative Designer/Senior Designer to join our growing design team at Club L London.

Roles And Responsibilities

1. Research, develop, and create moodboards, colour palettes, and fabric stories for upcoming collections.
2. Source and develop new fabrications, techniques, and trimmings, applying expert understanding across all fabric bases and garment constructions.
3. Design across multiple product categories, identifying key shapes for the season and key product opportunities.
4. Present your work in sign-offs and meetings to Managers & CEO.
5. Create technical packs for your designs including information on construction, measurements, fabrication, and trimmings.
6. Work closely with the Garment Tech team and Pattern Cutters during the design development stage to ensure optimal execution of first samples.
7. Attend fit sessions to ensure designs are executed according to the tech pack and Club L London standards.
8. Manage all sample queries from suppliers during the sample development stage.
9. Plan and collaborate with in-house Merch teams to create fresh products and collections aligned with key trading periods.
10. Participate in trade, critical path, and process meetings.
11. Build key relationships with existing and new suppliers.
12. Participate in sourcing and inspiration trips nationally and overseas.

More About You

1. At least 5 years' experience, preferably in slow-fashion or luxury environments.
2. Multi-product ladieswear experience and/or focus on dresses/occasionwear.
3. Specialties such as tailoring, swimwear, curve/petite, embroidery/embellishment are encouraged.
4. Understanding of the brand's handwriting and ability to adapt design skills accordingly.
5. Good technical experience in creating tech packs.
6. Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe platforms).
7. Demonstrate Club L's key values: collaboration, creativity, and confidence.
