Severn Trent is seeking a Senior Design Services Manager to lead critical design projects for water treatment sites, steering the design lifecycle from concept through delivery. You will mentor other design professionals and collaborate with internal engineering teams to uphold high standards while keeping cost and schedule targets in focus.
You will bring substantial design or project management experience in engineering, along with NEC4/PM experience and APM qualifications.

The Senior Design Services Manager will be expected to lead several critical / high value projects for our Water Treatment sites throughout the design stages of the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working independently whilst collaborating effectively with others whilst at the same time mentoring other members of the design team. We have £300m of design work in the pipeline and we need you to ensure our consultants are managed to deliver brilliant outcomes whilst sticking to price and programme.
The candidate will ideally have the following experience, but all are encouraged to apply if they believe they are able to demonstrate the required capabilities

This role will be based at one of our three main Hubs dependent on the successful candidate’s location. This will be our Finham Hub in Coventry, our Raynesway Hub in Derbyshire or our Shelton Hub in Shrewsbury with travel required across all 3 hubs at times dependent on project needs.
