Job summary

Client in the Welsh region seeks a Design and Preconstruction Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with Civils and water sector experience. The role covers Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Worcester, with travel across the Southern region.

You will lead design teams, manage contracts and stakeholder engagement to deliver multi-million-pound projects on time and within budget. Successful candidates will hold relevant industry qualifications (HND/HNC/BEng or NVQ Level 6+), SMSTS, CSCS and a First

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 or bespoke contracts is essential.
• Relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or NVQ Level 6+ is required.
• SMSTS, CSCS and a current First Aid at Work certificate are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and challenge technical designs for constructability and efficiency.
• Lead stakeholders and manage client relationships across schemes.
• Administer contract changes and procurement planning.
• Direct teams of designers and construction operatives to meet milestones.
• Oversee QES assessments and safety governance on site.
