Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Design Manager for a Tier 1 contractor near Reading, covering projects across the M4 Corridor including Oxford. The regional office is based near Reading with a mix of education, public sector, leisure and commercial schemes.

You will lead design at tender, liaise with estimating and commercial teams, and drive RFI handling, change control and CDM compliance through to site handover. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design at tender and bid stages for major schemes.
• Exposure to D&B projects and framework negotiations preferred.
• Track record on high-value projects (£10m+).

Responsibilities

• Lead design input from tender through to site handover.
• Coordinate with estimating, commercial teams and clients.
• Manage RFIs, changes and CDM compliance on schemes.
