Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior MEP Design Manager to lead the design process for major London construction projects. You will shape technical strategy, manage design delivery, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle.

The role requires proven leadership in MEP design, strong communication with stakeholders, and Chartered or Incorporated status or progress toward it. Join a data-driven, safety‑minded team backed by EDF.

• Manage consultant scopes, fees and performance.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations and industry standards.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for a Senior MEP Design Manager / Senior Technical Manager to take a leading role across major construction projects in the London, You will have the opportunity to influence projects at the stage where your experience matters most. Rather than simply managing drawings, you will shape technical strategy, question assumptions and remove risks before they become expensive site issues. You will work across the full project lifecycle, with a particular focus on pre-construction and design delivery.

Who we’re looking for;

You will need proven experience leading MEP design on complex construction projects.

You should also have:

• Strong pre-construction and technical risk experience


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Commercial awareness, including consultant fee management


• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services


• Chartered or Incorporated status, or be working towards it, with CIBSE, IET or IMechE
