Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior MEP Design Manager/Senior Technical Manager to lead MEP design across major construction projects, shaping technical strategy from pre-construction to delivery.

You will review designs, manage risks, coordinate consultants and supply chain, and ensure compliance with Building Safety Act and industry standards. A degree in Building Services or related field and professional status are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading MEP design on complex construction projects.
• Strong pre-construction and technical risk experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness, including consultant fee management.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Chartered or Incorporated status, or working towards it, with CIBSE, IET or IMechE.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical risks early and develop clear solutions

We are looking for a Senior MEP Design Manager / Senior Technical Manager to take a leading role across major construction projects, you will have the opportunity to influence projects at the stage where your experience matters most. Rather than simply managing drawings, you will shape technical strategy, question assumptions and remove risks before they become expensive site issues. You will work across the full project lifecycle, with a particular focus on pre-construction and design delivery.

The person

You will need proven experience leading MEP design on complex construction projects.

You should also have:

• Strong pre-construction and technical risk experience
