Confidential Birmingham-based contractor is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design management on major industrial projects. You will coordinate with project teams, consultants and supply chain to ensure designs are buildable, compliant and delivered to high standards.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and a track record in industrial/logistics projects within a main contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Design Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Strong industrial / logistics / manufacturing project experience.
• Solid understanding of design coordination, buildability and technical compliance.
• Confident in working with consultants, clients and specialist subcontractors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead, influence and take ownership.
