PSR Solutions is seeking a Senior Design Manager for a permanent role in the North West, focusing on Manchester-based projects with values between £10m and £50m. The position entails leading design delivery for a major main contractor on commercial, education and defence schemes.

Responsibilities include managing design processes pre-construction and construction phases, coordinating external consultants, and ensuring timely delivery of design information while adhering to programme and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex, high-value design projects from a main contractor perspective.
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and Planning Permission processes.
• Strong organizational skills to plan, schedule, and manage multiple workloads.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design processes during pre-construction and construction phases; analyse Employer's Requirements; develop Contractor's Proposals.
• Coordinate and supervise external design consultants.
• Implement innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of design information and resolve issues within strict deadlines.
• Participate in tender launches, adjudications, and project initiation meetings as needed
