Job summary

Heathrow Airport Limited is seeking a Senior Design Manager for the Natural Environment as part of its expansive Heathrow Expansion programme in London. The role is hybrid and focuses on integrated biodiversity, habitat management and blue-green infrastructure within a complex, multi-tranche delivery framework.

You will coordinate senior design teams, align with strategic objectives, and drive timely documentation across tranches while ensuring safety, inclusivity and sustainability are embedded

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working within major project or programme environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools, including Autodesk Collaboration Cloud and P6.
• Experience collaborating with multi‑disciplinary design, engineering teams, and diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Programme Leader – Design Delivery to support effective execution and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage procurement and oversight of Design & Engineering suppliers, including performance and contract management.
• Lead the delivery of design and engineering outputs for assigned tranches, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
