A market-leading, privately owned, Main Contractor with a secure, long-term pipeline of work across Hertfordshire is seeking a talented Design Manager.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and support design delivery across an exciting long term education sector portfolio spanning Higher Education, High Schools, Academies and Primary Schools.
While focusing primarily on early feasibility and procurement stages, the Senior Design Manager will oversee technical compliance and design management, monitoring on-site design coordination and managing the performance of external consultants on projects c£20m+ in value.
Acting as a liaison between the design team, client, and on-site delivery team.
Ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Driving efficient design process aligned with project timelines and commercial targets
A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in a design management role for a Main Contractor.
Sector experience to include one of the following:

HNC or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology OR comparable qualification.
