Senior Design Manager - Natural Resources Team

We're looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our Natural Resources team, working on projects in the Thames Valley region (North). In this role, you'll oversee the design phase of construction projects related to wastewater treatment upgrades and resilience works.

Location: Hybrid work from home and site/offices as required, primarily in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, and East Hyde, Bedfordshire.

Contract: Permanent, full-time with flexible or part-time hours available upon request.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and design consultants to develop comprehensive design solutions.
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, building codes, and client requirements.
• Develop and implement design management processes and procedures.
• Monitor design progress, identify risks, and manage change control and documentation.

What are we looking for?

This Senior Design Manager role is suitable for candidates with:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Proven experience in design management within civils or construction industries.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and standards.
