Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers seeks a Senior Design Manager to lead end-to-end design for data centre projects across Europe, coordinating with Project Directors, managers, and external design vendors to meet briefs, budgets and schedules.

The role is primarily remote with up to 50% travel, requiring a university degree and fluency in English and French; German is a plus. Expect collaboration across Paris, London, Amsterdam and Germany, with diverse phased expansions and fitouts.

Qualifications

• Univers ity degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services related field.
• UK-based roles require BS 7858 security screening.
• Strong written and spoken English and French; German an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design delivery, from briefs to external design vendors.
• Collaborate with Project Director and stakeholders to align design with budget and programme.
• Ensure design reviews meet standards, codes, and project brief.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders and Project Managers.
• Oversee third-party consultants and contractors to ensure value and quality.
• Drive innovation for reliability, efficiency and sustainability.
