Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical/Controls Expert Global Design Standards to translate Owners Project Requirements into the Global Reference Design and lead complex mechanical engineering initiatives within the GRD framework across regions.

Responsibilities

• Translate Owners Project Requirements from NTT GID Design into the Global Reference Design (GRD).
• Provide regional understanding of the GRD and localise it through third-party Architects and Engineers.
• Interface with internal stakeholders across business functions, the Product team and regional design delivery teams.
• Support in project design reviews at all stages of project design and delivery.
• Consult with Engineering, Expansion, Construction, Operations, Product and Sales to balance risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Technical Director to drive design best practices and processes at scale.
• Support workload planning, prioritisation and development areas for the Global Design Standards team.
• Lead and oversee complex mechanical engineering projects from concept to execution with standards compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior mechanical engineers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve mechanical systems for data center infrastructure.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of mechanical systems and upgrades.
• Stay informed on emerging trends in mechanical engineering and apply them to operations.
• Prepare and present technical reports and updates to senior management.
