Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment seeks a Head of Product Development or Design Manager to lead a design/engineering team at a specialist manufacturer in Witney, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on steering product development from concept through production and overseeing project delivery to high engineering standards.

You will coordinate design, prototyping, documentation, and manufacture readiness, leading the engineering team and liaising with suppliers and production teams to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a design, product development, or engineering team.
• SolidWorks knowledge or CAD experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Manage design, suppliers, documentation, BOMs and project delivery.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and vehicle application teams to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.
