Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to blend interaction design with front-end engineering, creating high‑fidelity prototypes and internal tools that accelerate decision‑making and automate tasks. You’ll prototype across web, mobile, and TV, and explore AI to enhance workflows and outputs.

You’ll join a small Design Engineering team within the Viewing Experience, Product and Design organization at Peacock, helping push design excellence and scalable prototyping across the Peacock

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design engineering, front-end engineering, or related hybrid role.
• Very strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript, and React.
• Experience with AI tools to aid design and prototyping.
• Experience building Figma plugins and working with APIs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with designers, PMs, engineers, and researchers to build prototypes for exploration and testing.
• Translate ideas into interactive, high-fidelity prototypes across web, mobile, and TV.
• Design and build internal tools, utilities, and AI-powered workflows to speed up prototyping.
