Job summary

Terex is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for the Ecotec Brand, based at Campsie or Farlough. You will lead development and maintenance of mobile recycling machinery, working with the Lead Engineer to meet tight timescales and standards.

You will apply QFD, FMEA and DfM in design and testing, manage engineering data, and seek continuous improvement in safety, reliability and cost. Strong CAD and hydraulics knowledge is essential, with good English communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering; design experience in mobile tracked equipment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, CREO; familiar with PDM systems.
• Good technical expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with mobile recycling machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineered solutions for new products and modifications.
• Follow group standards in QFD, FMEA, DfM, prototypes, field tests.
• Adhere to engineering standards and manage released data.
• Ensure products meet safety, function, and reliability specs.
• Reduce manufacturing cost through design and cross-functional input.
• Address customer complaints promptly; stay current with tech trends.
