Senior Design Engineer required for an industry leading company at an exciting time of company growth and brand development. This is a great opportunity to join a bespoke manufacturing company with a 20-year history who are offering an opportunity for an experienced design engineer to step into a leadership role.

To apply for this role, you will be an experienced design engineer with experience using CAD to produce 2D and 3D designs. Candidates from any manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply.

Reporting into the Head of Technical, the Senior Design Engineer will act as the team leader for a small design team. The role will focus on creating 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks whilst overseeing the management of projects, checking the quality of work, and providing general guidance to the team.

The Senior Design Engineer Role:

· 2D and 3D Designs using SolidWorks

· Project management – ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met

· Provide mentorship and guidance to the design team

· Ensure designs meet company quality standards

· Communication with stakeholders during the design process

· Collaborate with onsite manufacturing team
