Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Design Engineer, located in Chertsey. The Senior Design Engineer will lead the design of game-changing new products for Surgeons & Dentists. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilising CAD tools for design, conducting mechanical and electrical engineering analysis, and participating in the product design lifecycle from concept to production.

Products we have developed in the past include the Ignis Wireless Headlight, which is the world's brightest counter-balancing headlight system. As well as Pro Refractives, which are the clearest, micro form-factor optics of their kind. And we have even bigger projects in the pipeline...

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Mechanical & Industrial design
• Highly experienced with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is
• Experience in the optical, spectacle or medical device industry is a plus

This is a 2-stage interview process: one with the engineering team and one with the CEO.
