We are looking for an ambitious Senior Design Director to join our London Design & Production team.

Please note, this will be a 6 month FTC with the possibility of an extension or going perm.

You’ll be tasked with owning and leading the creative output on our priority accounts, developing their brand, producing campaigns, overseeing the content creation and developing our team. You will also sit over a number of our beauty, lifestyle, service, sport and tech brands and work with the teams to deliver best in class work. We are a tight knit team of illustrators & animators, photographers & videographers, coders & brand builders who create thumb-smashing content for some of the biggest brands in the world.

You will work closely with a whole host of departmental specialists, from Insights, to Community, to Strategy to deliver transformational social-first work for our clients.

Our Conversational Creative relies on innovation, through a deep knowledge of the latest platform features and production techniques, combined with an acute understanding of what people are talking about and why it's important to them and their communities.

Creatives at 1000heads are involved from the start of a brief right through to output. You will go further, helping us guide the client on the future of the brand identity, drive forward creative ideations, oversee project development and lead creation of content across a variety of channels and mediums. Ownership and passion are key at 1000heads, so we’re looking for a candidate with an insatiable drive to create award winning, innovative work. You will need to be hands on when driving forward concepts and brand campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Create, convey, and sell vision: Inspire and mentor the team to develop impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver new levels of craft and innovation.
  • Cultivate an engaging atmosphere leading to the development and execution of remarkable creative.
  • Be a strong confident ambassador of 1000heads when presenting work to clients in order to drive though ideas and build strong client relationships.
  • Conceptualise, scope in and implement complex integrated campaigns.
  • Creative ideation and design thinking, both on your own or as a team.
  • Deliver campaign and brand development, overseeing project workflow.
  • Lead the agency in industry knowledge and design trends.
  • Function seniority, working with the senior team to own billable utilization, people management and function strategy.

Requirements

  • Experienced creative with a design education and 8+ year’s experience from a social or creative agency background
  • Strong social knowledge - platforms, formats & trends
  • Experienced in leading teams and overseeing multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
  • Concept through to final delivery experience on multi-channel/integrated campaigns that deliver strategic shifts for brands
  • Attention to detail - lead on quality control
