Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a globally managed team central to derivatives data integrity and collateral operations. You will own day-to-day data/workflows in MAC, shaping data accuracy relied upon by margin operations, risk/controls, technology, and client onboarding across Citi.

You will lead senior-level deliverables, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, and contribute to strategy while engaging audits and regulatory processes. Hybrid work in the UK is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with derivatives documentation and collateral operations in financial services.
• Ability to interpret and apply collateral schedules within security agreements to real operations.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritising in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor level education or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyse derivatives documentation and apply contractual terms within MAC to ensure data integrity for downstream Citi systems.
• Manage high volumes of daily communications from internal functions — including margin operations, XVA, technology, and client onboarding.
• Take senior ownership of deliverables, coordinating data, technology, and product workstreams while contributing to team strategy.
• Lead preparation and presentation of analytical work for internal and external audits, ensuring findings are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
• Assess and resolve margin breaches by identifying root causes within MAC data and applying corrective action.
• Evaluate collateral schedules (initial and variation margin) to ensure MAC reflects terms of underlying agreements.
• Participate in MAC strategy, development, and maintenance discussions to influence platform decisions.
