Job summary

iBC Healthcare is seeking a Deputy Manager for its adults supported living services in Birmingham. You will work with the Registered Manager to lead a cluster of services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support and strong CQC compliance across multiple sites.

The role involves deputising during absences, providing 2nd line on-call support, and traveling across the cluster to oversee care delivery and staff development. A Level 5 Leadership qualification and CQC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care is essential.
• Experience in a deputy manager or equivalent role supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs is essential.
• Extensive knowledge of CQC regulations and fundamental standards with experience supporting inspections.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading day-to-day operation of a cluster of Supported Living services for adults.
• Deputise for the Registered Manager during periods of leave or absence.
• Provide 2nd line on-call support across the cluster outside core hours.
• Drive quality of care that is person-centred, outcome-focused and promotes independence and wellbeing.
• Be a strong, visible presence across multiple sites, supporting staff, families, and the people we support.
