Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking a talented Senior Womenswear Designer to join our fast-growing denim and outerwear brand in Greater Manchester. You will focus across Denim, Outerwear and Leather, driving trend-led, commercially relevant product from concept through to final garment.

The role requires strong denim experience, cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Merchandising and Technical teams, and a passion for womenswear.

Qualifications

• Strong Womenswear Denim design experience is essential.
• Experience with Outerwear/PU/Leather is advantageous.
• Strong commercial background in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent eye for trend, color, fabric, wash, silhouette and garment detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop commercial womenswear ranges across Denim.
• Own the design process from initial concept and trend research through to final product.
• Research trends, colour, fabrics, washes, shapes, details and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising to create commercially balanced ranges.
• Use sales and product performance to identify opportunities, develop best sellers and drive newness.
• Develop trend-led product while aligning to brand handwriting and target customer.
• Create and present design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes and technical artwork.
• Attend fit sessions and work with Technical and suppliers to meet design vision.
• Work with suppliers around fabric, wash, finish and garment construction.
• Stay up to date with trends and market developments across womenswear.
• Contribute ideas and creative insight across Design and Product teams.
