WR Berkley in London seeks a Senior Delegated Underwriting Authority Analyst to oversee delegated authority portfolios and related risk management. You will conduct due diligence on coverholders and third parties, manage audits, and ensure timely, compliant bordereau processing.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of delegated authority management; including due diligence, audit, bordereaux, market systems and regulatory requirements.
• Effective interpersonal skills; professional, approachable and able to build trust with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of delegated authority portfolio and risk management.
• Perform coverholder due diligence (new, renewal, Lloyd's coverholder tribunalisations) to meet regulatory and internal standards.
• Review delegated authority contracts pre-bind accurately and timely.
• Manage coverholder audit cycle: planning, scheduling, scoping, auditor liaison and remediation of recommendations.
• Peer review of bordereau management system accounts, mappings, and validations with offshore team liaison.
• Liaise with Delegated Reporting Manager to ensure bordereaux received timely and to specification.
• Report performance metrics to internal stakeholders and participate in the Delegated Underwriting Group.
• Help ensure systems, controls and record keeping support the above outcomes.
• Advise underwriters using subject matter knowledge and troubleshoot issues.
• Support the development of junior team members and deputise for senior staff when required.
• Facilitate the underwriter EPI review process
• Qualifications include strong knowledge of delegated authority management and relevant systems.
