Job summary

Congruity360 is seeking a Senior DBA / platform engineer to join our Engineering team in Belfast. The role focuses on expanding our data platform with ClickHouse and PostgreSQL while leveraging Parquet and cloud object storage.

You will participate in a dynamic development environment, influence technical decisions, and help deliver secure, high-quality software across our evolving product suite. The role is NI-based with a hybrid pattern requiring a minimum of two days in the Belfast office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DBA/platform role.
• OLAP experience required.
• Experience with MergeTree design, partitioning, TTLs, materialised views, distributed tables and sharding.
• ETL/ELT pipeline design and operation; batch + near-real-time.
• Parquet and object storage as a query tier.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a fast-paced development team delivering high-quality software.
• Drive technical decisions within the data platform team.
• Work on emerging data store technologies to support cybersecurity solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize data stores and data pipelines.
