Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is seeking pension administrators with Defined Benefit experience to join our team in a role that offers growth and structured training. You will support complex DB cases, perform calculations, and stay updated with regulatory changes while working within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years UK DB pensions administration experience.
• Educated to A level, degree level or equivalent.
• Making good progress towards relevant training courses and exams to gain APE and CPC.
• Awareness of external bodies such as PPF and tPR.
• Well organised and thorough with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team with fluctuating workload and initiative.
• Maintain professionalism with strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Flexible hours and keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Broaden technical knowledge and expertise in DB pensions.
• Handle complex cases (divorce, large benefits, tax issues, death cases) following procedures.
• Perform complex calculations and review junior colleagues' work.
• Stay updated on legislation and advise on needed changes for client communications.
• Be aware of scheme-specific conditions and client needs.
• Contribute to efficiency drives and process improvements.
• Participate in departmental initiatives and projects.
• Draft and review non-standard letters; mentor junior staff.
