Job summary

East Ayrshire Council seeks a full-time day services coordinator based at Rosebank Resource Centre, Kilmarnock. You will promote and deliver wellbeing initiatives for older people with multiple needs, helping reduce social isolation through meaningful social and recreational activities.

Hours are Mon-Thu 9am-5pm and Fri 9am-4pm, with annual salary £43,589–£47,484. PVG scheme membership is required prior to offer, and recruitment follows Safer Recruitment guidelines.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme membership required for regulated work with children and/or protected adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in promoting and delivering the Wellbeing and Recovery Plan and Community Plan objectives.
• Provide day service opportunities to older people with multiple needs to reduce social isolation and enable participation in meaningful social and recreational activities.
