We are currently recruiting a Senior Database Engineer to join our established and experienced CIO team at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

As a Senior Database Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and administering database systems, focusing on high performance, security, scalability, and mentoring junior team members.

You will collaborate with platform teams to define goals, drive technical innovation, and ensure alignment with business needs.

You will also stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to foster continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.

You may be required to provide out-of-hours standby support to ensure incident resolution and operational continuity.

Your responsibilities include designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and secure database structures using T-SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies. You will optimize SSIS workflows for efficient ETL processes with minimal system impact.

About You

You possess excellent problem-solving skills, contribute to technical discussions, and provide guidance on database design principles and best practices.

You have extensive experience in T-SQL, SSIS, and PowerShell scripting to automate processes and lead complex database tasks.

You have proven experience in SQL Server environments, including performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.

You have in-depth knowledge of database security practices, including access control, encryption, and auditing to meet compliance standards.
