Job summary

Roche Products Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced data governance professional to join the Master and Operational Data Team in DGO.

You will help design and implement data strategies that ensure our clinical, operational, and real-world data are reliable, accessible, and compliant across the product development lifecycle. You will drive data excellence, enable FAIR principles through cataloging and lineage tracking, collaborate with global teams, and uphold privacy and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, Information Management, or related field.
• Experience in data management, metadata curation, or Master Data in regulated/Life Sciences environments.
• Knowledge of data lineage, cataloging, and quality tools; understanding of MDM and FAIR data principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence across levels.
• Comfort working in a global, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive Data Excellence: design, implement, and manage Master Data, Reference Data, metadata standards, and conceptual data models.
• Enable FAIR Principles: cataloging, lineage tracking, and data classification for findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable data assets.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with internal teams at all levels to improve visibility, quality, and usability of data assets.
• Maintain Compliance & Standards: ensure adherence to global data privacy and security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and robust data governance practices.
• Guide & Champion Stewardship: mentor colleagues and drive a culture of continuous improvement in data stewardship.
