Job summary

PureGym Ltd. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead spatial analytics from concept to production, shaping decisions on where to grow and how gyms fit within communities. You’ll work across the Data & Analytics team in London, with hybrid work between home and office.

You’ll drive models for retention, pricing, and estate performance, translating commercial questions into rigorous analyses and delivering clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative or geospatial discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of applied Data Science experience with geospatial models used for real-world decisions.
• Strong geospatial modelling expertise: spatial statistics, gravity/isohone/ Huff models, network/ isochrone analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own spatial and location models from prototype to production assets.
• Build catchment, location and demand models for markets and growth.
• Collaborate with Property, Finance, Engineering and Data to deliver business value.
• Validate models with out-of-time testing and uncertainty measures.
• Deploy, monitor and retrain models with MLflow and versioning.
