Job summary

Relation in London seeks a Senior Data Scientist to advance generative and predictive models of cellular behaviour using single-cell multi-omics. You will join a multidisciplinary team working with cutting-edge datasets and ML tooling to translate biology into impactful insights.

You will design pipelines, apply Nextflow/Snakemake workflows, and collaborate with wet-lab and ML colleagues to ensure experiments are analytically tractable and results robust.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep hands‑on experience processing and analysing large‑scale single‑cell multiomics data (RNA+ATAC preferred).
• Proficiency with single‑cell analysis toolkits and workflow frameworks (Nextflow, Snakemake).
• Experience with CRISPR perturbation screen data and MOI estimation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and QC paired single-cell RNA-seq and scATAC-seq data at scale across diverse contexts.
• Develop and maintain Nextflow/Snakemake pipelines with standard QC and reproducible analyses.
• Integrate multi-omics data with imaging and proteomics for multimodal training datasets.
• Collaborate across wet lab and ML teams, design evaluation metrics, and contribute to publications.
